Science Diet is a scam…I used to be a vet tech and a lot of the Science Diet that we sold would come back all molded…ICK !!!
It’s an overrated food that’s poorly regulated..
Please do this, instead of asking “which brand is best”, do some homework…Poultry based foods (poultry being the first ingredient on the ingredient list) are notoriously the highest quality foods…
I personally feed Diamond Proffessional Diet (I know, the whole lawsuit thing)…But Diamond is a very good quality food at a price that I can afford…That Wal-Mart crap is a corn based food and dogs get almost NO benefit from corn.
If you can afford it, IAMS is the best quality food that you can get for the price…It’s chock full of quality protien and the balance of vitamins and minerals is nearly perfect…GO AHEAD AND GIVE ME THE THUMBS DOWN PEOPLES !
You know it’s true….

You know what
it depends on what your puppy likes
You can try reading the part of the package that says the ingredients and be sure that the top three of them are meats… and not byproduct or meal or corn… :-)
Meaning… youre not going to find a decent dog food on your nearest supermarket and obviously is not going to cost you 5 bucks….
You should try Wellness dry food…
btw… they use proplan because they sponsor them :-)

I feed Canidae PAWS formula or all life stages kibble. PAWS stands for Puppies, Adults, Working ,Senior. It is formulated for the dog- no matter what the age. It is nice to only have to buy one type of dog food when you have a puppy, an adult, and a senior pet. and not to have to change food as the dog ages.
