The browser might be faster, but the internet will not be.
The browser is a software application that runs off your computer, whereas the internet is provided by your ISP (internet service provider) which determines your speed.

It will likely be much faster on the new computer, but slow down over time. This is caused by all the files you download to a computer, over time they take up more and more processor time and hard drive space. The best way to keep a computer running fast is to stay away from any questionable sites, which, unfortunately, means staying away from MySpace and the like, which put many cookies on your computer which will slow down your internet connection.

You can network the old and the new troughout a router and use the same internet,but it is dependent in in the speed of your internet provider and also they have maintenace tools in every pc and laptop to keep your pc clean so they can respond faster in windows system they are called diskclean,defragment and scandisk/autofix and you can access then by going to mycomputer right click in drive c: and select Properties there you find all the tools.

No and here is why, your netbook will not be able to handle the intensive internet. The only way to handle it is with a $7000 PC.
