Due to my past working experience in Sales & Marketing, I hope to pursue a career in marketing which allows travel opportunities as i like to have international exposure. I am more keen in Business Development, brand etc compared to PR & communication. As I like to see the world, I thought, having a Master in International Tourism Marketing will be a great path for me.
Can someone in this industry please help me:
1) I heard marketing in Singapore hotel area is more PR & Communication related. Unless in Sales area, however, do not require a Master grad to do the job. Is it true?
2) If I am more interested in marketing strategies/Business/product etc in tourism industry, what are the areas I can look into?
3) What positions usually i can start off since have no experience in the industry?
4) I am aged 30 female, looking for switch in career. The truth in the industry, is it age bias?

i have an acer aspire 5310 laptop with 2gb ram and 80gb and 1.6hz processor and windows vista home premium. i bought it brand new for christmas and i decided to backup up my vista onto disk using the eRecovery management, and i also backed up the drivers for it. i decided to ‘try’ and dual boot ubuntu and vista and it didnt work so i restored the laptop to factory settings using the disk and once i have applied all my personal settings i logon. after i log on it comes up with acer launch and it installs the programs like ePower, eAudio, etc and when it gets to ‘process: 7/8′ it justt stays there for hours on end, i do not know what is wrong with it, it loads up every single time i log on. i want it to go away, but not taking it away from startup, because i want it to finish whatever it is trying to do. so if you have had this problem before and you have fixed it please tell me how!!!

Just got a brand new PC. Wanted to reformat and load XP Pro on to it (it came with Home and all the usual bloatware).
Disk drive is 500GB SATA
So did all the usual to reformat and reload using the XP install CD but I can now only see one partition of 127.99GB (131061MB). Can’t work out why I can see the other 300MB odd of space. I tried looking in Disk Management but there is no option to even create a partition in the unused space.
I’m wondering if this is some quirk of the SATA controller or something.
Anyone any ideas?

So heres the deal. I moved into my apartment in downtown Los Angeles about a year ago. At that time the building was managed by a different company. When I moved in I was told utilities were included in my rent.
Well a few months later a brand new company started to mange the building. Then all of a sudden I get a bill from a third party billing company that says I owe for utilities. I had no idea I was even going to be charged for this.
When I went to speak with the manager I was told they could charge me for utilities even when each unit wasn’t sub-metered as my lease had said. I never paid one bill.
So now its time for me to move out and the bill has added up to over $400 and the manager has threatened to take this out of my security deposit. Is this legal? They gave me no notification and I am getting billed from a third party company. If its a third party, then why is it coming out of my deposit? Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

My hair is super curly. After I blow dry my hair, I iron it and then it comes out all fluffed out and big. I’ve tried many products such as CHI, biosilk, Pantene pro-v, and some other expensive brands and overall they have done the same thing. I’ve tried those sprays that you put on your hair so it won’t damage your hair while ironing it , but it fluffs my hair . By the way I have a ceramic iron. Does anyone know of any good products out there that really work?? Or of any good strategies for my hairdo. I’ve been wanting to try biolage but I am afraid that it won’t work and I will lose my money worths.

I have a cable modem (with attendant router) attached through a brand new splitter and coaxial. My internet keeps flickering on and off every few minutes. The only thing that helps is when I unplug and replug the coaxial into the splitter. What might this be, and how can I fix it?
