I represent a brand and am looking to create an application for the Facebook platform. There are loads of successful applications out there with huge followings (Scrabulous anybody?) but am wondering if people would be put off these applications if they were branded?
If it’s a fun application that provides a bit of escapism from the humdrum, it shouldn’t matter if it’s branded, right?

I want to open my retail clothing store in Egypt and sell some of the branded products, like Lacoste, RL Polo and Tommy Heifer, however all these brands have got their own local stores here and I’m worried that selling the same brand would be considered illegal….. I will be buying my stock from factories in China which is claiming to be a supplier factories of these branded companies and they are selling their overstock. Please advice.

Is it illegal to sell non branded Look alike cell phones? Cell phones that clones and look like the iPhone and the N95 but dont have any Nokia or Apple branding on it. Is this illegal even tho there is no trademark names on it?

I believe it is a hidden managerial conspiracy. If the best engineer is made a manager, the company, in some ways, loses the good engineering talent. Also, engineers are branded as geeks or nerds because of the propoganda by non-geeks and non-nerd ignorant idiots who couldn’t survive if the smartest guys went into management.
What are your thoughts? I know engineers who are extremely good at their work, have great education, display great leadership, can look at the bigger picture, have excellent communication skills and good personality but they just do not get a chance to be considered for management.
What are they lacking?

@The questioner: I’m not sure what Wanadoo is, but if you want to change it to your default browser (the way it came), it’s not that hard. Just check the tools section.
