I am told not to feed Science Diet? What brand of DRY food and how much each day. I have a border collie pup.

i have a few questions about feeding a tb. Is it better to feed a tb rice brand grain like natures blend or strategy instead of corn and oats. is horseman’s edge sweet feed good to feed a tb along with corn and oats? what is a good balanced diet to put a 4 year old tb on that is a little under weight? right now i am feeding her corn and oats and sweet feed mixed together. she is getting 4 1/2 lbs in the morning and at night. let me know thanks oh and she was wormed and her teeth were floated and she was off the track and she wasn’t injected with steroids. and i feed her Timothy hay and grass.

My horse is a hard keeper. Right now I have him on Purina Strategy, but I’m looking for something that is higher in fat and fiber. I’ve been looking at the labels of several different brands of grain, and many of them are virtually identical in the guaranteed analysis. Is there any reason one brand may be better than another?
