I was wearing a polo from abercrombie the other day and my friend pointed out that it was abercrombie.I said yeah, the she later on told me to read this
Company CEO Mike Jeffries says that the blinds are a great addition to their stores, because it accomplishes two objectives. “First and most importantly,” said Jeffries, “the blinds add a sense of security for the attractive individuals who we allow to patronize out stores. They feel safer because ugly people will no longer be leering at them through the windows.”
“Second, the new blinds – which will be closed during business hours – will make fat, ugly people feel better about themselves because they will no longer be able to see our attractive customers shopping for the latest fashions,” he added.
The announcement was well-received by millions of Abercrombie shoppers nationwide, who echoed Jeffries’ sentiments. Kimberly Goodwich, who shops at Abercrombie & Fitch regularly, said she was happy to hear about the blinds “because I totally, like, don’t like those fatties watching me look at the skirts and stuff. Like, I feel bad because they are fat and stuff, but its like, staring at me isn’t gonna, like, make you as hot as I am, ya know?”
Abercrombie & Fitch has become one of the most controversial American retailers in recent years, when a campaign was launched by family-oriented advocacy groups against the retailer, who – according to the group’s claims – promotes sexual activities in its marketing strategy.
